It is time to accept that the future needs biodiversity. Removing animal/environmental protections to pad a wallet is a losing game. Ontario has a natural land like no other and showing appreciation for the province under your care is hope you earn real respect.

The temporary gain for your wallets pales in comparison to the permanent harm to the environment this will cause. I think what you’re doing is messed up and and you should repeal bill 5 all together.

This is just horrific and I truly hope that the government is able to protect these species and do what is right! I dream of people in power, making decisions that protect the most vulnerable including animals and the environment.

Please listen to the people! This is a request to repeal Bill 5 AND to help protect the 106 at-risk and endangered species (eg piping plover, peregrine falcon) that could have their protections completely stripped.

I oppose these changes and want Bill 5 repealed. I do not support weakening environmental protections. I value species biodiversity and want to protect habitat that supports our native species. I want to see work to protect our species at risk, not to have their protections stripped away. Read more
