I'm appalled at the protections , Bill 5 has removed Habitat protections for all species are limited to the dwelling place and immediate surroundings -- we know that this is not what birds and animals need. Read more

I oppose these changes. I think Bill 5 should be repealed. Please restore the protections for nature, at risk and endangered species. Protecting Nature, ultimately protects all of us! We are part of nature! Read more

I oppose these changes. Please repeal Bill 5. Endangered and at risk species must be protected. Please restore the Endangered Species Act. What about about Truth and Reconciliation? We need to be honouring Treaty Rights and informed consent. Thank you for your time.

The definition of habitat needs to be widened. The new definition, which limits habitat to a species' dwelling place and its immediate surroundings (or critical root zone for plants), is far too restrictive and will undermine protection efforts. Read more
