I oppose these changes! Repeal Bill 5! Protect endangered species! Biodiversity is nothing but beneficial, so by eliminating endangered species, we would be sending our environment into chaos.
I oppose bill 5, especially stripping endangered species of their environmental protections. This decision will have dire consequences on our ecosystems, animals and us in the future.
I work in conservation in Ontario, with a focus on protecting birds. I am very concerned that replacing the Endangered Species Act with the proposed Species Conservation Act will weaken protections at a time when many species are already declining.

This is an absurd attempt to trade the health and long term viability of our ecosystem for short term profit by Doug Ford and his developer associates. It goes against the love that Ontarians have for their province and the pride we have in the natural beauty of our province.
This is messed up. You can support advancement while protecting the environment and vulnerable species. Practice responsible and sustainable development!!!
These changes not only will send us back decades, they will cost the government big time when the consequences hit. The only reason for this is for developer needs. That has never worked for good.
I oppose this proposal. I believe these changes will have long-term negative effects on Ontario's wildlife and residents. It is for our own good to take this matter seriously and protect Ontario's endangered species.
I am deeply troubled by the proposed Species Conservation Act, and its failure to effectively conserve Ontario's irreplaceable biodiversity. Currently a staggering 106 species at risk are facing the possibility of losing all protections. This is deplorable.
