To Whom it may Concern: I am excited that MTO is considering looking into its existing Corridor management policy. In my opinion, I strongly recomend it be revised to match with the growing of digital technology age while still actuaizing and maintaining the safety of drivers. Read more

My only comment and critique of the MTO is regarding the illegal trailers that are being placed along major highways in Ontario. Obtaining a permit for a billboard can be a long process, but a process my company and i respect, and follow to the letter. Read more

Our family frequently travels Ontario highways. We are concerned about the dramatic increase in the number of highway billboard signs as defined in the Corridor signing policy. These signs are not only distracting, they detract from the natural beauty of our countryside. Read more

I believe that the distances set on the 401 corridor in Essex County make it hard to do business. Massive structures need to be erected. The printing of the signs alone due to their size can cost $10,000 - $12,000. We are a local billboard company and most of our customers are local businesses. Read more

Approved signs (i.e billboards and those on bush country highways) should be restricted to traveler information (local business, provisions, hotels, tourist stops, driver awareness, hunter awareness etc) and not include consumer goods (books, -frozen beneath- products, religion, etc). Read more

I support the us of third party advertising along our provincial highways. Use of this signage would provide significant assistance to businesses and groups along these highways who wish to attract commuters travelling along these roadways. Read more
