Please adopt the suggestions in the city report. I have lived in the area most of my life and agree with all of the conclusions. My niece is growing up in the area and deserves to have services available to her.
There has been extremely rapid growth of the Yonge=Eglinton area over the past 10 years largely a consequence of intensive condo development. Funding for, and the appropriate development of, support services and the necessary infrastructure has not kept pace with this growth.
I have been a resident on Manor Rd. for 30 years. In the last 10 years i have seen unprecedented growth in the Mid Town area. With all the construction going on it is difficult to drive in the area and awkward to walk at Yonge and Eglinton.
I strongly support the Official Plan Amendment #405 in particular Option #3 restricting the height levels of future buildings in the area east of Yonge Street ,north of Eglinton. There are already far too many buildings in this area over 20 levels high.
Re: Official Plan Amendment 405 (Midtown in Focus Plan) To: The Minister of Municipal Affairs Please approve OPA 405 (Midtown in Focus Plan). I have lived in Midtown Toronto since 1980 and have seen first hand the growth in population and it's effect on transit and the community.
I strongly support Amendment #405 of the Yonge-Eglinton Official Plan in particular Option #3 limiting the levels of future developments in the area east of Yonge and north of Eglinton to 15 or 20 storeys.
We have lived in this neighbourhood since 1971. We realize that the city designated the Yonge & Eglington area for intensification. This has gotten way out of hand thanks to the OMB being in favour of the developers,, and the greed of the developers.

I chair the Residents' Association at the northwest corner of Yonge and Eglinton. Our catchment is the nine square blocks between Eglinton Park and Yonge. As RAs go, we are small but feisty.
Please support the Yonge-Eglinton Official Plan Amendment No. 405 (OPA 405) as adopted by the City of Toronto. I am writing this email to express my absolute support for OPA 405 - the only plan that addresses the overwhelming development burden being imposed on our neighbourhood.
Yonge and Eglinton is a vibrant community that is currently struggling due to the abundance of construction. The sewage system is stressed, residents are losing sunlight and there is no natural green space.
i am a resident---along with my wife--of the Yonge_Eglinton neighbourhood---I have lived in this area for 34 years --the last 2.5 at this address---I have studied the Y-E Plan, have attended numerous public meetings involving the Plan, I have spoken to Planners and I spoke to the issue of Option
I am pro development and embrace and welcome development that will increase prosperity and provide value to the City and the existing property owners. HOWEVER care must be taken to provide proper green spaces and setbacks from the road to provide a liveable space for all residents.
SUBMISSION: SUPPORT OPA 405 I strongly support the submission entered by the Republic Residents Association (RRA) outlining in detail the importance of endorsing OPA 405. I now appeal personally to show the real and emotional human impact of unchecked development.
