There are no legitimate climate change mitigation strategies that do not involve a hard cap on carbon emissions, and some form of price for exceeding these. Cap and trade markets have been both criticized and lauded for encouraging industry to tackle only the low hanging fruit.

The future is clean and green. I'm against repealing the Climate Change Mitigation and Low-carbon Economy Act, 2016. We need to fund research and development for clean energy, technologies, and environmental protection efforts.
There is world-wide pier-reviewed scientific consensus that humanity is at risk of calamitous loss and hardship if we do not succeed in keeping global climate change below an average increase of 2 degrees.
