Climate change is the most serious problem Ontarians face in the near future. Leave the carbon tax in place until you implement a better program to cut emissions. Cancelling one policy while not having a better plan to replace it is absolutely irresponsible to Ontario families.
The decision to introduce and pass Bill 4 is a completely foolish idea without having an alternative solution in place to reduce Ontario's GHG emissions. The science is very simple.

In the age of climate action and climate justice, this proposal is superfluous, elementary, and reductive. Corporations are responsible for climate change. They should not be exempt from their actions. I am against this bill.

This fiscal fiasco is inexcusable. Ontario had a successful cap and trade program up and running and we were seeing amazing results only to have this dismantled without any fiscal analysis, public debate or policy alternatives presented. This is facist.

This Bill does a huge disservice to the people of Ontario. It ignores the effects of Climate Change that are already occurring and the costs associated with the increase in health costs (due to extreme heat) and insurance claims (due to extreme weather events.

In power for a short time so far, the Ford PC government has already been called out as an example of one of the worst governments in the world in regards to climate change (see link). This government should reverse all of their knee jerk cancellations, and work towards making actual improvements.
