I do not support the Bill as currently drafted. In particular I am opposed to the following provisions under the section "Targets, Plan & Progress Reports": - The Bill does not specify that the emissions targets to be set and/or revised by the Minister will be lower than current levels. Read more

If there's something wrong with the current plan, why don't we come up with a new one first, and then replace the old one? The way this is written it will leave us without a plan. Scientists keep warning about oncoming disaster , and this bill feels like a step BACKWARDS. Read more

As a longtime Ontario resident, and someone whose health is affected by the impacts of climate change, I oppose this Bill and the repeal of Ontario's Cap and Trade system. This Bill is not supported by any evidence and is premature, given that nothing has been put in its place. Read more
