The new government of Ontario must explain to us what they are going to do to mitigate the effects of CO2 emissions into our atmosphere. There can be no doubt that action is needed sooner not later. Future generations will pay the price of this partisan political fighting
Cancelling the green energy act is the height of irresponsible. The green energy act needs to be beefed up and given real teeth not neutered completely. It's abhorrent behavior from any government but especially a Canadian one.
Progress in environmental legislation is important. Repealing recent legislation and going back to 1990s law is the opposite of progress and will not only hurt hurt the environment, but will hurt Ontarians in the long term.

The Ontario government must take action against climate change. These policies ensure that Ontario is taking steps to reduce carbon emissions and encourage green energy practice, therefore do not support the repeal of this act.
I am concerned about what this repeal may mean for the renewable energy industry in Ontario. Premier Ford seems adamant about reversing what little progress we have made in cultivating alternative energy in this province.

I oppose decentralizing the environmental regulation to municipal governing bodies and want the most stringent rebate program in place to encourage energy efficiencies. I am extremely disappointed with the Ford government for recalling rebates on electric cars.
