Please DO NOT turn our Wasaga Beach parks into a camp site parks. Clean the sand with a Surf Rake equipment and not take out our beautiful white sand. Also, bushes and trees along the beach front. Thank you.

6.1 Wasaga Beach Provincial Park should not provide overnight accommodation. This park is unique in being in the immediate vicinity to accommodations available throughout the urban town.

I am a resident of Wasaga Beach, specifically just off of Mosley. First a general comment - I am pleased to see that a new plan is being developed. It is very disheartening that the significance of the Park is less and less visible every year.

In regard to Part 5 Boundary Considerations, we appreciate that that the boundaries of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park (WBPP) are under separate review. However, we also note that information from the park planning process will inform the boundary review.

Wasaga Beach Management Options
With regard to:
Overnight Accommodation - I'm not in favour of this option. The park areas are not large, any space devoted to overnight accommodation would reallocate space from daytime enjoyment.

No to overnight camping in area of the Wasaga Beach Provicial Park (WBPP) as It will take away business from existing camp owners on motels. No to overnight camping next to existing housing ( - 24th st and Shore Lane) as overnight camping should not be allowed in an urban area.
