The beach areas should continue to use the numbering system. It keeps things simple and is very easy to follow signs looking for a number instead of a name. Also there is no cost involved in signage or literature.

I’m happy to read that you plan to protect the park areas of Wasaga Beach. It’s what makes this town so great. As a person with a young family, we are constantly using and enjoying all the parks have to offer.
Regarding New Wasaga Beach, this beach is in terrible shape, out of control weeds, debris, standing water and generally not groomed (unlike the main Wasaga Beach). There is lots of "paid" parking available, but the beach is under utilized due to it's condition.

The Province has allowed municipalities the option of allowing alcoholic beverages in their parks. The Province should allow the responsible use of alcoholic beverages in provincial parks, such as Wasaga Beach.

Clean, swimmable, water and a clean, soft, sandy beach, along with the treed park areas for picnics, is what draws visitors to Wasaga Beach. Residents are also drawn to live in Wasaga Beach for those same reasons.

the most common complaint I hear is that the beach is not well looked after. The sludge that washes up on the beach is a real deterrent for visitors. The weed and tree growth that creeps on to the beach is also a problem for visitors.

I would like to see the clearing of trees and bushes along the shore. This would allow people to place picnic tables and seating so that we can enjoy the beach views. Also, the use of a surf rake equipment to clean the sand would protect the sand from being mixed in with the muck. Thank you
Greetings. I have been buying a season pass and using this park for 10 yrs. We launch our boat here. I cannot begin to tell you what I have witnessed at the launch. It is massively unsafe as is, and I have written to the park previously on this.

Wasaga Beach is a jewel and should be given the attention, care and DAILY upkeep it deserves.

-I don't think it's fair to visitors to charge parking fee where there is nothing provided for their comfort. I'm talking about New Wasaga Beach. Parking obtaining machine is open long before there is even garbage containers installed or washroom is open. Washrooms are separate story.

Permitted uses and activities: I still do not understand how Ontario can turn the beach area back into a natural habitat for animals, however will prohibit and enforce no dogs on the beach.

I would like to suggest that more of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park lands are returned to a natural environment state. Combing the beach should really be limited to only the area of Beach 1 right in front of the stores and restaurants.
