I have read your proposal and believe that you are on the right track for sustainability and ensuring that the public and Cities and industry are involved in making these established changes for the betterment of our environment.

I strongly encouage the Ministry to promote good practices within the Province.

The policy doesn't deal effectively with the contribution that manufacturers and importers have in the waste that ends up in municipal landfills. A great deal of waste is not funded in the Blue Box program. Extended Producer Responsibility would cover this shortfall.
