The Paris Galt Moraine should be added. The Greenbelt should be expanded to protect nature, habitat areas, farmland, drinking water supplies etc. We need to stop urban sprawl.

I am a resident of Ajax, ON and I strongly support the expansion the Greenbelt Area, to enable the policy coverage of the Greenbelt Plan to be extended to the O. Reg. 59/05's 13 new Urban River Valley areas, to grow the size and quality of the Greenbelt.

The proposed additions to the Greenbelt are completely inadequate for the future sustainability of human and other life. Failure to add the Paris Galt Morraine, the headwaters of Carruthers Creek, as two examples, demonstrate that this is not a serious effort to protect Ontarios viability.

We were bitterly disappointed when the Galt-Paris Moraine - which we regarded as the centerpiece of carefully crafted expansion of the Greenbelt - was summarily deleted from the inventory of prospective additions to the Greenbelt. Please see our full and detailed comments in our attached letter.
