Please approve Waterloo Region's Official Plan Amendment 6. Our future generations depend on farmland for the food which will sustain them and for the water that is allowed to percolate through the soil without running off into a holding pond. Greed now will not support us in the future.

Waterloo depends on ground water for water supply. By paving more farmland, we'll be putting up more barrier for rain and surface water to reach underground aquifers. At the same time we have been allowing our heritage water source to be depleted by unregulated farming and industrial practices. Read more
