I strongly oppose in favour of the proposed changes to the Greenbelt Plan that would remove or redesignate 15 parcels of land and add lands to the Paris Galt Moraine area. Opening up access to developers to green spaces will have environmental ramifications we can't afford. Read more

I am writing today to ask you not to interfere with the Greenbelt. I am 24 years old and I have lived in Toronto for 6 years. Going through with the actions on this bill would be disastrous for the environment, and would make me ashamed to live in Ontario. Read more

Poor decision that is shortsighted and suspicious of true recipients of benefit. More land is not solution to housing, energy or pollution problems. Plenty of studies on density benefits as primary solution. Hope you are legally challenged on this decision if don’t reconsider.

The government should not be allowed to expand into the greenbelt. The green belt is a vital environmental ecosystem that needs to be preserved. Expanding into the greenbelt will risk our air quality, water, destroy vital farmland, and kill animals. Stop the expansion into the greenbelt!

Protecting farmland is very important to me as a Canadian citizen concerned about both food security and climate change. I want to see development in my own city, not in poorly planned suburbs which will suck funds from my downtown core while destroying prime agricultural land. Read more
