Doug ford PROMISED not to touch the greenbelt. So much for that promise. I am COMPLETELY opposed to bill 23 and all proposed changes. This government has no foresight on how these changes will impact our environment and cripple future generations. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I have been a resident of mississauga for over 40 years and have seen changes to the landscape. In some cases good and others a disaster. When it comes to greenbelt. DO Not TOuCH it some of the only things left to enjoy and visit. The natural beauty is worth saving for our environment. Read more

This is disgusting that our protected Greenbelt can just be bought out by developers for them to make even more money. The beauty of Canada and our neighbourhoods is the vital green space. What was the point of protecting it all this time? Read more

I’m very disappointed but frankly not surprised by the lack of meaningful consultations. But worse than that it’s appalling that Doug ford LIED. There is no other word that describes what he said vs what he’s done after getting elected. Once again, only his rich friends are to gain. Read more

Breaching the Greenbelt, as Bill 23 provides for, means that no protected land is safe in Ontario. The same methods can be used for violating all environmental regulations and protections of any and all sorts. This is an all-out war on the environment, and on all conservation practices.
