We are in a climate crisis — in what universe does destroying protected wet lands and disrupting entire ecosystems make sense? We are also in a housing crisis — my husband and I gross $130k and can’t afford to buy anything, we rent a shoebox and can’t save enough for a down payment. Read more

In the GTA we have a significant need for more housing supply. The way to do this is to build up not out. By developing high rise and multi-family or clustered housing types we can meet our housing needs without irrevocability destroying the best agricultural land in Canada and mother nature. Read more

I strongly oppose the implementation of the proposed amendments. Environmental resources (land) are not equivalent. It is unacceptable to consider that removing protected land from the Greenbelt can be made up for by the protection of other land in different regions. Read more
