The proposed legislature does not specifically exclude regular sail and power boats. Since most boats have "overnight accommodation", it seems the legislature would apply. Read more

We fully support the proposal to prevent overnight anchorage within 300m of a build structures (cottage or dock). We are in the process of building a cottage in a small bay in Georgian Bay. While quite a few boaters are quite respectful of cottages, not all are. Read more

Good day, i fully support the recommended changes to this regulation which will hopefully restrict the use of "floating cottages" made out of old shipping containers. These are present and in use on our lake and are a scourge on the landscape. Read more

This regulation change proposes to add very restrictive access to "water camping" that would apply to a sailboat since it will be considered to be a liveaboard and houseboat. Extreme care is needed to clearly define the watercraft. Read more

No-one should be permitted to pretend that a container is a cottage and live so inexpensively on crown land. We have campgrounds for people who can not afford to own land. These floating cottages are eyesores and should be banned.

Absolutely disagree and do not support these amendments Not to mention it is beyond the provincial jurisdiction, navigational waters is Federal I for one will stop at nothing, to prevent this from happening if Province tries to go ahead with this proposal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
