This proposal is absurd. The "landfill" in reference was a site that was in operation over 30 years ago to bury ash from an incinerator. It is not, and has not been, a landfill for a long time. This is taking advantage of grandfathered zoning.

As a resident of Dresden, I do not want additional traffic in the area. I do not want local grounds contaminated. Our neighbours rely on water wells. Our community wants to be able to enjoy fresh air and use of the river without fear of contamination.

The more I hear about this proposal the worse it seems to get. The idea of putting a mega dump backing on to a creek and wetlands that flows into a major river is crazy. The environmental destruction alone should prohibit this plan from being accepted.

I vehemently disagree with this proposal. There will be an increased danger on the roads with so many trucks coming and going. This will affect children on school buses, children walking to and from school as well as farmers and farm equipment.

The Municipality of CK and Lambton County have both made requests to have this stopped.
This is located less than a KM from Dresden, and based on CKs letter from the Mayor outlining this needs to not occur, should be stopped based on the extremely close proximity to town.
Please don’t do this to the people of Dresden. We don’t want this dump so close to our town and rivers. If this was happening in your community, would you be okay with it? I don’t think so. The people of Dresden are begging you to stop this project from going through.

The proposed dump while holding existing permits is too close to Dresden. Please deny them any permits since they are too close. Also with Molly's Creek right there they pose a danger to wild life and fishes which use the creek.

The dump will be a detriment to our town for the following reasons:
- increased traffic on highway 21 running directly through the centre of town
- devaluation of property throughout the town
