This seems to be a crazy amount of water to be used to clean aggregates. This is going to affect many wells around the proposed gravel pit and could cost farmers and residents with a private well alot of money to drill new wells.

Most people in Maryhill have their own wells. With this much water being drawn on a daily basis this will affect our water supply. This needs to be addressed with capital paving and I feel their request should be declined. How are we to survive without running water in our homes.

We are shocked and anxious about the application for a Category 3 water taking which states: "anticipated to have the highest potential of causing unacceptable environmental impactor interference", and just as worried that this is just a way to get the application in and then ask for a reduced risk

Capital Paving should not be approved for a category 3 water permit, which is anticipated of causing unacceptable environmental impactor interference. In the area there are a number of homes and farms that rely on well water.
