I am concerned about how a landfill might increase human wildlife conflict. Many landfills simply kill animals, especially if they are near an airport. Please build the landfill in a way that reduces pollution and animal attractants.

The proposed facility is extremely close to the town of Dresden, less than 1km away and the whole town is within 3.5km away from the facility. York1 has stated that they heard the concerns of the Dresden residents but in reality it has fallen on deaf ears, WE DO NOT WANT this facility in our town!

I absolutely do not agree with Dresden getting a dump. I am located less than 2km away from where it is supposed to be and it is so unsafe, I have 4 small children ages 7 and under. If I would have known about this I wouldn’t have bought a house here only 4 months ago!!

Thank you for this proposal requesting a full EA review. Our community believes this should be required to protect our well water, air, wildlife and overall health concerns this landfill could cause. The traffic and noise will affect our financial health as well.

This is a terrible idea. A dump less than a kilometre from town and also creeks and waterways. Irreparable damage will be done for our future generations in our community and also those downstream like wallaceburg and the walpole island reservation.
York1’s proposal to put a mega dump one kilometer from the heart of our community is very concerning to me for many reasons, especially the potential harm that would be caused to endangered species.

I have nothing against the concept that York 1 has for a Regenerative Recycling Facility, -feel the concept is good, I do though feel very strongly that this is NOT the proper property for it.

I am definitely not in favour of the proposal by York1. It is way too close to the residents of the town of Dresden. We cannot handle the number of trucks that would be coming in on our roads. The trucks would be coming down roads that disrupt many residential homes.

Our town has been shocked and blindsided by York 1s proposal for a regenerative facility that is an alarming 1km from our town and 1.5km from where our children go to school.

One thing I found interesting was the title, which states the former town of Dresden. I realize with amalgamation to Chatham-Kent we lose our status as a town but don't try to tell that to the 100's of families that have lived here for generations.

Due to the disturbance to the wildfire in the Sydenham River and environmental assessment should have to be done to stop york1 from being able to put a dump on the proposed site they are trying to currently.
