Opposed! This is the time to invest our tax dollars in saving our environment, our healthcare system, and supporting our struggling communities, not expanding urban sprawl and creating car dependant infrastructure right at the time when we so desperately need to shift away from using fossil fuels

I strongly disagree with this proposal to exempt the 413 from the EA Act. A large, new highway is very clearly going to have a significant environmental, social and economic impact. Exempting the highway is ignoring all the principles of good democracy. I am ashamed to be an Ontarian.

Environmental disaster, at the expense of the many, for the benefit of the few. Highway 413 should not be built, and in the worst-case scenario — where the Ford government decides to continue with the highway — it should not be built as proposed in the Highway 413 Act. Read more
