I strongly oppose this bill. Endangered animals need to be protected, and I do not believe economic growth should come at the expense of the environment, especially species already at risk. It is shocking and disgusting to me that this is even being proposed.

Ontarians have not asked for weaker protections or less say in decisions that affect the province’s land, water and future. Bill 5 would silence community voices, marginalize science and erase decades of hard-won environmental progress. Read more

I oppose Bill 5. We only have one earth and nature is worth saving. We have enough places to develop without destroying precious ecosystems. There must be some controls on greed.
