As a resident of Sarnia, a teacher of high school geography and environmental science, and a frequent user of provincial parks, wetlands and green spaces, I know this is a terrible idea. Please do not go ahead with this. Read more

I absolutely oppose bill 5. Cutting the endangered species act is not in the interest of Canadians and special economic zones will only allow for violation of human rights as well as unmitigated environmental damage. Read more

I say NO to Bill 5. I want to see STRONGER protection for endanger species, not less. I do not agree with or support short cuts for industry with little or no public oversight and say. I oppose overriding related laws in “special economic zones”. The planet is on fire and crisis. Read more

I oppose Bill 5. We need stronger not less protection for the environment and species. Once the environment is wrecked we cannot go back and fix it! Anyone who wants to do legitimate business should not be afraid of going through due process. Read more

I disagree with Bill 5 and believe that it should not go through. Nature and wildlife is important and should be respected and protected. Leave the land that I live on alone. Shame on you Ford.

I oppose bill 5. Climate change is at its worst and building on the green belt will do nothing to alleviate it. We must protect the flora and fauna of our country and the bill that Mr. Ford is suggesting will not.

Ontario does NOT need this change just so the crook conservative Ford can have his billionaire developer friends tear up protected land! Hands off our environment and find better lands to develop affordable housing!
