I strongly oppose Bill 5. Giving shortcuts to industry is a huge mistake lacking foresight and care for the environment. Care about something other than making money for once. We need STRONGER protections for the environment and endangered species.

I strongly oppose Bill 5. There needs to be stronger environmental protections for Ontario, not weaker. Industries should not be given shortcuts that are a detriment to our environment.

I OPPOSE BILL 5! Now more than ever we must protect our natural habitats and beauty of our lovely province. Making it easier for industries to work without shortcuts is a slippery slope to disaster. Endangered species deserve our protection and it is our duty to provide it. I OPPOSE BILL 5!

No thank you. We need to protect these vulnerable species and the government and industry need to listen to what the public has to say. This is a short term vision and solution to a larger problem.

I oppose the changes proposed in Bill 5. I am concerned about the weakening of environmental laws and protection for species. As a resident of Ontario, I am upset the government is proposing to strip protections and allow for hasty decisions that could have devastating impacts. Read more

I oppose Bill 5 as it will negatively effect the flora and fauna of Ontario, especially species that are endangered or at risk. We need to care for the land we live on, not destroy it for unnecessary things.

This bill is NOT the way to protect Ontario. We have a responsibility to our children and our children’s children to keep environmental protections in place. I am absolutely against the cutting of these environmental protections in the name of “protecting” Canada.

No changes should be made except to provide further protections to wildlife and especially endangered species. Industry leaders need to use creativity in order to further their businesses. Their gains must not come at the cost of the environment. Ontarians deserve forward thinking industries.
