We don’t want Bill 5. Respect natural areas and animal habitats. It may not generate as much income as a mall or housing complex, but natural land is even more valuable.
I strongly oppose Bill 5, the Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act. This legislation poses a serious threat to Ontario’s natural heritage, democratic processes and Indigenous rights.

Bill 5 needs to be stopped. This bill doesn’t prioritize Ontarians, it allows selective priority to be given to industries at the expense of our environment and our average citizens. We need more environmental protections and industry standards, not less. I oppose this bill.

As a young and proud Ontarian, I am aware of the housing crisis in this country. This on the other hand is far from being the solution to this problem and will only lead to the opposite.
