I strongly oppose Bill 5 and am honestly in shock/disgusted this is being tabled. Why we would entrust the government (any party) to oversee environmental decisions is perplexing based on history. For that reason, the environment should continue to be overseen by the scientific community. Read more

I oppose this. There should not be short cuts for industry that put our environment at risk. Endangered species are to be protected regardless. Industry doesn't need breaks that harm the environment and endangered species.

This proposal will cause immeasurable harm and destruction to the fragile and unique ecosphere that is Ontario wildlife. As an avid conservationist and angler it is immensely disappointing that the Ontario government feels the need to push this through. Read more

I say NO to Bill 5. At what point will this end? Those in power who want to make money and make their friends money will take away all environmental rights from the public with no end in sight. We must not allow this.
