I would like to oppose bill 5. I believe what we need is stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I also believe that there should not be any shortcuts for industry. Lastly, I also oppose overriding the law in special economic zones.
I completely disagree with changing the definition of habitat. The change does not reflect the complexity of a non-human organism's reliance on a number of different factors, one of which being its dwelling, in order to survive as a species.

The ESA program registration is complex and requires a thoughtful approach to protect endangered species in areas of potential development. The proposed changes removes the responsibility of registrants to research and consider the habitats and environments of animals and plants.

I oppose Bill 5 and i want more protections for the endangered species of ontario. I want more protections of our wetlands and I am tired of these overpriced development projects from overseas developers.
I oppose bill 5, I do not support industrial growth without public oversight. I believe environmental areas should be protected along with the wildlife those areas support.
I do not want a bill that destroys critical environmental spaces for protected vulnerable species.
Prioritizing short-term development goals over the provinces obligations to protect wetlands, watershed and endangered species will weaken our environmental safeguards.
