I am very strongly opposed to Bill 5. The proposal to change from a permit process to a registration where work can begin immediately after is absurd and will be detrimental to ecosystems, our environment, and ultimately Ontarions’ health. Read more

In a world where species are going extinct, environments are being destroyed, and our chance of changing the tide is closing fast, Bill 5 is a nail in humanities coffin. One of the last nails we have before we have signed our own death warrant. Read more

In the strongest possible terms, no to bill 5. Ontario is a beautiful place filled with wilderness and diverse wildlife. It should be protected. Also, giving industries and corporations free range to take and build whatever they want wherever they want has never turned out well. Read more

Environment assessments are vital to infrastructure projects and wildlife protection are vital to being a good steward of nature to preserve for our future generations. Eliminating these safeguards erodes our capacity to prevent projects that pollute or damage our environment
