I oppose Bill 5 in its entirely. I do not want special economic zones that deteriorate environmental protections. This Bill cannot pass. This must never become law or reality in Ontario. This would be a devastating blow to all who live here. Do not pass this legislation into law. Stop Bill 5.

Yes, it takes time to do environmental checks, but they are important. There are other important things besides urbanization. The nature we have left - the little we have not destroyed around the Horseshoe - needs to be saved.

Premier Ford has a constitutionally required duty to consult with affected First Nations on Bill 5. He refuses to do so because the bill guts critical environmental protections in a naked and greedy power grab.
