So you're just going to allow Doug Ford to eradicate a bunch of endangered species so we can have more businesses and companies we don't need? Sweet! What an amazing country we live in with a great democracy! I thought Canada was supposed to be environmental defenders, but I guess I was wrong.

Regulation-free zones are super dangerous, trying to build things quickly isn't worth risking major infrastructure disasters if things aren't built to regulation, even if the current government only uses it safely once the law is on the books any future government could misuse it. Read more

I am a Canadian born citizen, and I would feel deep shame if this bill passed. Nature is what keeps our world alive, not concrete and wires. We seriously need to wake up and remember elementary school.

I oppose Bill 5. We need strong protections for the environment for a sustainable future. Do not repeal the endangered species act. No to the creation of special economic zones where industry can bypass and override laws with no public oversight.

I do not approve of this bill. It needs to stop. Development without environmental impact assessment is irresponsible and dangerous. This bill is greedy and does not consider the future of species or resources.
