I do not support the bill to change the Endangered Species Act. We can have progress without the risk of damaging our environment. We need to think long term and protect endangered species and wildlife from destructive developments.

I strongly oppose Bill 5. I want stronger environmental regulations that prioritize protecting endangered species. If passed, Bill 5 will undoubtedly erode public confidence in transparent and accountable government decision-making and cause irreparable harm to environmental and human rights.

This is a greatly concerning proposition. As Canadians we have the duty to protect and care for all in Canada, including the animals that reside here. Furthermore, especially the ones that are already endangered or require additional support or protections to fight against extinction.
