I strongly oppose Bill 5. I strongly oppose overriding the law in "special economic zones". I strongly oppose shortcuts for industries trying to undermine their environmental responsibilities with no public oversight. I want stronger protections for the environment and endangered species. What is happening to Ontario? Everything is now about money and no thought given to the complex world of keeping nature healthy. It is so important to mankind. It is all part of a bigger agenda to sell off parts of Ontario to the highest bidder. It needs to stop.

The Ford government has never shown any regard for ecological concerns and hardly any for agriculture. This government sees development as the be-all and end-all. Ontario has historically an agricultural province and Doug Ford is intent on paving it over. Read more

I am sick to my stomach thinking about the devastation that this could have. Years of conservation efforts could easily be reversed, and it is crystal clear that Doug Ford does not care. Read more

We have a Ontario government taking us backwards. They are environmentally illiterate, and anti-democratic, no respect for public input and the rule of law. Canadians need to pay attention to what the conservative party is doing to our democratic way of life. Read more
