I am VERY disappointed that our provincial government has produced a bill as toxic as Bill 5. It has no redeeming features, is anti-democratic, anti-environment, but strongly pro putting billions of dollars into developers' pockets. This is NOT what Ontarians want or need.

You must stop bill 5. It is incredibly short sighted. What politicians think of as “red tape” are actually regulations that protect people and the environment. We must protect those protections for the health of the people and environment, from which we are not separate. Read more

Schedule 9 in Bill 5 is undemocratic. It would allow the premier and cabinet to decide which provincial and municipal laws would apply to “special economic zones”, the geographic extent of the law’s applicability, and even the specific individuals and companies to which the law applies. Read more
