On August 30, 2024, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Minister's Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 337/24 in the City of Port Colborne. The Zoning Order was requested by the Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade.

The ministry has issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval to Beedie, Ontario Develipments (GP) Ltd., as general partner for and on behalf of Beedie, Ontario (Healey Road) Property Limited Partnership, for stormwater management works located at 399 Healey Road in the Town of Caledon.

A decision was made on August 29, 2024, to approve the County of Simcoe Official Plan Amendment 8 as adopted by By-law No. 7053-24 without modification. Water will be taken for golf course irrigation and water supply purposes at the Century Pines Golf Course, located in the City of Hamilton, Ontario for 3 years.

A new basic Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) was issued to DS Actimo Canada Inc., a manufacturer of aluminum battery module pack cases at a facility located at 3499 Wheelton Drive in Windsor, Ontario.
