The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) is seeking to make a decision on a plan of subdivision (60-T-247539) on Wabigoon Lake, in the unincorporated township of southworth in the District of Kenora.
As part of the Fall 2024 Red Tape Reduction Bill, we propose to amend the Algonquin Forestry Authority Act. The proposed changes would remove the Lieutenant Governor in Council’s authority to appoint a general manager to the Algonquin Forest Authority (AFA) and provide the authority to the AFA Board of Directors.
