Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on May 9, 2023, in respect of Application 60-C-237549 for a lot addition on lands described as PINs 42034-0567, 42034-0555, and 42034-1483, Unsurveyed Territory, Thaddeus Lake, District of Kenora. Ontario is proceeding with the proposal to enable the transport of preserved baitfish and leeches into and out of Bait Management Zones (BMZ) and to allow the direct transport of both live and dead baitfish and leeches out of a BMZ and into an adjacent BMZ so that they can be used in the BMZ they were acquired in.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-8180701460 on September 7, 2022, which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 4113-BQ6NVK, for Peter Kiewit Sons ULC, Eurovia Quebec Grands Projets Inc., Janin Atlas Inc., and Dodin Quebec Inc. operating as Kiewit/Eurovia/Vinci Ottawa Partnership. The new permit expires on September 7, 2024

This decision is to renew Permit to Take Water No. 3556-8SNJB9 for St. Marys Cement Inc. (Canada) for industrial purposes. Water will be taken from one lake for the cooling of the cement kiln plant equipment, located in the City of Bowmanville, Ontario. Permit to Take Water No. 0018-C8WKXU was issued on January 13, 2022 for a period of 10 years.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 7573-C9FQNS for Drain Bros. Excavating Limited on January 24, 2022, which cancels and replaces Permit No. 2028-AQNPYY. Water will be taken from one pond for quarry dewatering at the Havelock Quarry in the Township of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen, Ontario.

We is issued a multi-media Environmental Compliance Approval (Waste Disposal Site, Air and Noise) for a waste disposal site (transfer and processing) of solid non-hazardous waste limited to construction and demolition waste including concrete, asphalt and stone; and fugitive emissions associated with the storage and handling of waste.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on July 4, 2024 in respect of Application 60-C-235140 for a lot addition on lands described as PIN 42180-2612, Lot 253, Plan M-222, in unsurveyed territory, community of Minaki, District of Kenora. The last day this decision can be appealed is July 24, 2024.

We have issued an approval to Covanta Environmental Solutions Ontario, Inc. for the expansion of an existing building, corresponding changes to waste storage amounts and locations, and a process to denature off-specification medication using chemical oxidation. The site is located in Kitchener, Ontario.

The government has made changes to O. Reg. 82/98 under the Development Charges Act. in order to increase the supply and range of housing options for Ontarians.

A Permit to Take Water No. 7243-C8WRQM was issued to St. Marys Cement Inc. (Canada) on January 5, 2022, to renew Permit No. 5180-8SRPQJ for dewatering purposes for 10 years. Water will be taken from a quarry sump for the purpose of dewatering at the Bowmanville Quarry, located in Bowmanville, Ontario.

Closure Plan Amendment for the McBean Joint Venture Property has not been filed.

The application for an amended Environmental Compliance Approval (Air, Noise) has been withdrawn. No approval has been issued.
