The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-21-000018 to Gambier Gold Corp. for early exploration activities approximately 120 km north east of Cochrane, Ontario, in Kesagami River, Marquis Lake, Newnham Creek, and Ministik Creek Areas; District of Cochrane, North-East Region.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on August 26, 2024 in respect of Application 60-C-235207 for a lot addition on lands described as PINs 42180-2791 & 42180-2789, Lot 253, Plan M-222, in unsurveyed territory, Minaki, District of Kenora. The last day this decision can be appealed is September 15, 2024

Application 60-C-234706 was approved on July 25, 2024 subject to conditions.  The last date to appeal the decision under the Planning Act is August 14, 2024.

Application 58-C-215736 was approved with modification on August 30, 2023 subject to conditions.  The last date to appeal with decision under the Planning Act is September 19, 2023.

Site plan amendment for Johnston Brothers (Bothwell) Limited to change the final depth of extraction from above the water table to below the water table was approved. Changes to the final rehabilitation of the site operating in the Municipality of Thames Centre, County of Middlesex was also approved.

This decision is for a new Permit to Take Water for Goldcorp Canada Ltd. Water will be taken for dewatering purposes at the Paymaster North tailings facility, located in South Porcupine, Ontario.
