The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has amended Ontario’s clean fuel regulations to increase renewable content, such as ethanol, in gasoline over the long-term without an expected increase in prices at the pump.
A decision was made to approve a site-specific amendment to remove certain lands in the Town of Oakville from the Parkway Belt West Plan (PBWP) and the associated Minister's Zoning Order (MZO), filed as Ontario Regulation 481/73.
The PBWP amendment is approved as Amendment no. 238 and the MZO amendment is filed as Ontario Regulation 225/22.

Permit to Take Water No. 5571-BQLKFS was issued on June 15, 2020 for 2 years. The proposal was for a new Category 3 Permit application for the City of London for the purpose of construction dewatering for a proposed Infrastructure Renewal Program, Assignment D, Storm Sewer Outlet.
This proposal is to amend Permit to Take Water No. 5075-AQ5KWH for industrial purposes for CRH Canada Group Inc. (Dufferin Aggregates). Water will be taken from three ponds located in the Kawartha Lakes, Ontario for the Coboconk Quarry Site.
The proponent has amended their application requesting a period of water taking for less than one year. The decision to issue the permit is not subject to EBR requirements.
A Permit to Take Water No. 5848-CTTRDR was issued on September 13, 2023 to Angus Glen Golf Club Ltd. to renew Permit to Take Water No. 7186-93SMHH for five years. Water will be taken from two wells for golf course irrigation purposes in Markham, Ontario.
We approved an amended Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) (waste disposal site) No. A680066 for a 6.3-hectare waste disposal site (processing/transfer). The ECA amends the approval of the existing transfer facility and approves a new anaerobic digestion facility.
