We are seeking public input on a permit proposal that will impact Mottled Duskywing and Silver Shiner, which are Species at Risk. The proposal considers avoidance options, includes actions to minimize adverse effects as well as overall benefit actions for the species that may be identified for implementation.
We are commencing the development of the 2023-2033 Forest Management Plan for the Armstrong Forest. The public is invited to participate in ‘Stage One’ of the 2-year Contingency Plan (CP) and the 10-year Forest Management Plan (FMP).

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing has amended the Greenbelt Area boundary regulation (O. Reg 59/05) to add 13 new Urban River Valley areas and lands in the Paris Galt Moraine in Wellington County and remove 15 areas of land.
We have released a revised study area related to the Northwest GTA Transmission Corridor Identification Study. The study is ongoing, and we will continue to consider the comments received as we move forward with subsequent study milestones.
