We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 5832-CLQPNV on December 2, 2022, which cancels and replaces permit No. 4373-8TXQK3 for Capital Paving Inc. for industrial purposes. On December 6, 2018, ENDM amended the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998, to authorize the creation of a rate-payer funded subsidization Natural Gas Expansion Support Program. James Dick Construction has applied for a Class A licence (Category 1 and 2 - Pit and Quarry Below Water) to excavate aggregate from a pit and quarry 29.4 hectares in size. This application is for the establishment of a new pit and quarry. The annual tonnage condition applies for is 990,000 tonnes.
The proposed work program for the Methuen Township Marble Project would be a stripping and drilling bulk sampling program removing no more than 950 tonnes of material, keeping the project below the threshold of advanced exploration. The location of the bulk sampling is a near surface rock outcrop with light overburden, in a forested area.
