We made a boundary amendment to Mellon Lake Conservation Reserve, by way of an amendment to Ontario Regulation 315/07 under the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act, 2006. The amendment added 1,082 acres (438 hectares) of former forest reserve land to Mellon Lake Conservation Reserve following through on a long-standing land use decision.

We have made an exemption regulation under the Environmental Assessment Act which eliminates a 30-day waiting period before the Derry Road East and Alstep Drive road improvements project in the Region of Peel can be implemented.
