Ontario will proceed with updates to the Technical Guideline for the Cleaner Transportation Fuels regulation. It will include a modified pathway that could be used to calculate the lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions intensity of bio-based content. The Technical Guideline will be updated for this pathway.

We have established the Species Conservation Action Agency to invest in strategic, large-scale, and coordinated actions that will support more positive outcomes for select species at risk. We also created regulations to enable use of the Species at Risk Conservation Fund and expand conditional exemptions for activities with standard approaches.
The Ministry is seeking feedback on proposed projects in South Simcoe to support housing and job growth. Ten projects are identified for provincial coordination aligned with existing/planned infrastructure. This does not indicate a decision. The Township of Cavan Monaghan requested that the Minister consider amending the Zoning Order.
On October 30, 2020, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 607/20 which permits a mix of commercial, employment, and residential uses in the City of Pickering. The City of Pickering requested the Minister consider making a Zoning Order.
On April 28, 2020, Ontario Regulation 181/20 revoked three Minister’s Zoning Orders (MZOs) in Bradford West Gwillimbury Highway 400 Strategic Settlement Employment Area. Revoking these MZOs reduces regulatory duplication, as the provisions of the MZOs have been implemented through local zoning (Zoning By-law 2017-61).
