City of Brampton has submitted a proposal in relation to an overall benefit permit under clause 17(2)(c) of the Endangered Species Act, 2007 with respect to Redside Dace in order to construct pedestrian crossings and trails in the city of Brampton.
New regulations have been finalized to focus conservation authorities on their core mandate by prescribing mandatory programs and services they must provide, giving municipalities greater control over what conservation authority (CA) programs and services they will fund, and consolidating “Conservation Areas” regulations.
The Ministry has decided to proceed with the proposal within the Safer Roads and Communities Act, 2024 to establish regulation-making authority to allow for e-bikes to be redefined in a new regulation under the Highway Traffic Act.
