Permit to Take Water No. 8264-DJGJFX was issued to Jungbunzlauer Canada Inc. on August 14, 2025, for the purpose of industrial manufacturing.

KG Patterson Construction Inc. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Geographic Township of Osgoode, City of Ottawa.

Lafarge Canada Inc. underwent a corporate name change in June 2025 to Amrize Canada Inc. Amrize Canada Inc. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Township of Clearview. 

A new Permit to Take Water (PTTW) No. 0781-C79PZW was issued for the purpose of water taking for quarry dewatering for the extraction of aggregates. This permit is for the renewal of PTTW No. 5080-8TAKK2. Water will be taken from two ponds in the Guelph/Eramosa Township.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on April 22, 2021 in respect of Application 58-C-206495 for the creation of one new resource-based recreational lot in respect of land described as PIN 62484-0417; Lot 4, Con 10, and (2) PIN 62484-0416 in the Unincorporated Township of Lyon, District of Thunder Bay.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on February 14, 2020 in respect of Application 52-C-191156 to sever part 20, 21, 24 from Reference Plan 53R-21077 as a lot addition to Sudbury Condominium Plan No. 5, in Willisville, District of Sudbury. The last day this decision can be appealed is March 5, 2020.

Permit to Take Water No. 5670-B94LYE was issued on February 8, 2019, with an expiry date of February 5, 2022.

This decision is to amend the Permit to Take Water No. 8161-C8KPLR for De Beers Canada Inc. Water will be taken from one pond for dust suppression and put flooding purposes at the Victor Diamond Mine, located in the District of Kenora, Ontario.

The province has finalized the Agricultural Impact Assessment Guidance Document. This document supports implementation of the Provincial Planning Statement (2024), which requires the completion of Agricultural Impact Assessments for certain non-agricultural uses in prime agricultural areas.  

Application 60-C-241295 was approved on November 14, 2025, subject to conditions.  The last date to appeal the decision under the Planning Act is December 4, 2025.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-22-000203 to RJK Explorations Limited for early exploration activities.

The site plan amendment request by J.C. Rock Ltd., seeking approval for amendments to stockpiles and berms identified on the site plan, for the Laxton Quarry in the City of Kawartha Lakes has been approved.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted in respect of Application 58-C-189386 for the creation of one (1) new resource-based recreational lot for land described as PIN 62279-9513 and PIN 62279-9515, Whitefish Lake, Unincorporated Township of Hardwick & Jean, District of Thunder Bay.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on February 12, 2019 in respect of Application 52-C-187236 which would sever 0.24 hectares from PIN 73040-0048 to be consolidated with abutting lands. The lands are in Ivanhoe unincorporated township, District of Sudbury. This decision has passed the appeal date.
