An Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air & Noise) which replaces all the current Environmental Compliance Approvals for Air and Noise at this facility and includes the addition of new or historically unapproved sources for all emissions has been granted to Ryding-Regency Meat Packers Ltd., a slaughterhouse.

Amendment to Ontario Regulation 454/96 Construction under the Lakes and Rivers Improvement Act was approved.

Approval was granted for a major site plan amendment to allow Dufferin Aggregates to deepen the quarry floor, enhance the rehabilitation plan and reduce the western setback for the Flamboro Quarry.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on February 1, 2016 in respect of Application 54-C-159406 for creation of one new agricultural lot on lands described as the west ½ of the south ½ of lot 5, concession 3, Cane unincorporated township, District of Timiskaming. This decision has passed the appeal date.

An aggregate licence was issued to Dufferin Aggregates to make changes to the conditions of their licence to operate the Flamboro Quarry.  The annual tonnage is 3.5 million tonnes and the licenced site operates in Township of West Flamborough, City of Hamilton.

The variance is approved.  The underground tank must be removed by February 2021.

We have issued a benefit permit to Bellmere Holdings Inc., to develop a seasonal trailer park site that will impact up to 91 Category 2 Butternut trees. The permit includes actions to benefit the species, minimize adverse effects, and outlines monitoring and reporting requirements.
