The Director of Exploration has made a decision on Cobalt Camp Refinery Limited Mining Closure Plan for filing by NDMNRF as required under the Mining Act.

The decision is to file the Closure Plan.

Application 60-C-219956 for the creation of an easement for ingress and egress over PIN 42150-1739 to benefit PIN 42150-3093 was approved on November 9, 2021 subject to standard conditions. The last date of appeal of this decision under the Planning Act is November 29, 2021.

Provisional consent granted subject to conditions on August 12, 2021. The last date to appeal the decision is September 1, 2021.

Application 59-C-220755 for a road access easement was approved on September 27, 2022 subject to conditions. The last date to appeal this decision is October 17, 2022.

A decision was made to approve an amendment to the Niagara Escarpment Plan to allow for a site-specific change to the Land Use Designation of the subject property from Mineral Resource Extraction Area to Escarpment Natural Area and Escarpment Protection Area.

Application 60-C-213202 for a lot addition was approved on April 14, 2022 subject to conditions. The last date to appeal this decision is May 4, 2022.

On July 3, 2018, Ontario cancelled the cap and trade program. Given that the Electric and Hydrogen Incentive Program (EHVIP) and the Workplace Electric Vehicle Charging Incentive Program (WEVCIP) was funded through cap and trade proceeds, these programs have been cancelled.
