A decision was made on March 24, 2022 to approve the outstanding portions of Official Plan Amendment No. 11, as adopted by By-law No. 78-14, subject to one (1) modification, as outlined in the attached decision. The last date of appeal under the Planning Act is April 14, 2022.

The government has made changes to the Planning Act to support increasing housing supply and streamlining development approvals.

The ministry issued Certificate of Property Use No. 4637-C88HCE on June 21, 2023 to Cherryhill Commercial LP for their property located at 301 Oxford Street West in the City of London, Ontario.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent for a new lot was granted on September 16, 2025, subject to conditions.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval was issued to Jungbunzlauer Canada Inc. (JBL) for approval of upgrades to the existing works and the establishment of stormwater management works to service JBL’s Mixed Products Campus located at 1555 Elm Street, in the City of Port Colborne, Regional Municipality of Niagara.

The Director of Mine Rehabilitation has acknowledged receipt of the Closure Plan according to the provisions of the Mining Act. The Certified Closure Plan is now considered filed and the proponent must comply with the Closure Plan, as amended.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent to sever a lot for continued residential purposes was granted on March 8, 2024, subject to conditions.
