The ministry has accepted the risk assessment and the risk management plan prepared for the City of Thunder Bay as part of the development plans for the proposed Thunder Bay Art Gallery lands located at the waterfront, and the director is considering issuing a Certificate of Property Use ("CPU") in relation to the property.
On July 10, 2020, we issued a Certificate of Property Use to the City of Thunder Bay in relation to the waterfront property and development of the proposed Thunder Bay Art Gallery. The CPU requires that a Certificate of Requirement be registered on title of the property.
The proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Sewage) for Michael Hartshorn. This application is for industrial storm sewers, located on Industrial Drive, in Wellington North Township. The new sewers will discharge to the existing storm sewers located on Industrial Drive.
