I commute to my job downtown…

I commute to my job downtown every day by bike. The existing, and expanding, bike share network ensures I am safe and get home to my family.

Before the installation of the bike lanes, I had several near misses, and have had friends hit by cars riding on main streets without protected lanes. The lanes are used constantly throughout the entire year, even winter, especially by delivery workers.

This proposed policy will get people killed and goes against all evidence that bike lanes improve commute times for cars, and make the city a safer and more liveable place.
